Pfeifer has a passion for contemporary furniture. A second generation furniture maker, he established his practice in 2003 to follow this calling.

From his studio in East London Pfeifer develops furniture and home accessories for design-led retail and contract markets. The studio is also involved with branding projects for corporate clients, along with bespoke furniture commissions and one-off items for contract and private customers.

Pfeifer’s style has been strongly influenced by the Modernist Movement. His design follows pure and geometric form to produce minimal compositions with fine detail intrinsic to the work. Dedicated to an exploration of furniture and products in combination with innovative experiments in manufacturing, materials and structure, Pfeifer brings an enquiring mind and novel perception.

Having worked across a range of design industries including consultancy, R & D and manufacturing, Pfeifer has a wide scope of experience and a pragmatic approach to furniture design that has led to his work being available through some of Europe's largest retail chains.
